Suite (3)
Ever Snow, Ever Rose
CROP TIME
From planting to harvest:16 weeks
Thereafter, production starts every 14 weeks.
STEM HEIGHT
80cm
PLANTING DENSITY
6 plants/m 2 (1 plant/ft2 net). Plants are spaced in a quincunx pattern with 40cm between each line.
PRE-PLANTING
Soil: Well drained, loose soil with no clusters. At least 25 cm (10 in.) deep soil.
PH: 5.5 to 6.5
Netting: 2-3 levels
PINCH
In order to stimulate the basal sprouting of new stems, pinch when the first stem is induced. Handle with care to avoid damaging the growth points.
STEM INDUCTION
Cold temperature favors stem induction. After the pinch, spray the plants with 150 ppm of Giberelic Acid. Spray a second dose of Gilberic Acid to the stems that did not induce.
IRRIGATION
During production, maintain a 5.0 – 5.5 l/m2 volume according to the environmental conditions and the organoleptic monitoring.
FERTILIZATION
A general fertilization formula can be as following:
N: 120 ppm
P: 50 ppm
K: 120 ppm
Ca: 180 Ppm
Mg: 50 ppm
S: 50 ppm
Fe: 2 ppm
Mn:2.5 ppm
Cu, Zn and B: 0.2 ppm
HARVEST
Harvest when minimum 50% of the flowers are open. Flowers do not open once harvest.
POST HARVEST TREATMENT
Hydrate in an intial solution of Chrysal 0,3 cc/lt x 4 hours.
