Perennial. From planting to harvest: 26 weeks.
STEM HEIGHT
90 cm
PLANTING DENSITY
6 Plants /m2 net (1 plant /ft2). Plants are spaced in a quincunx pattern with 40cm between each line.
PRE-PLANTING
Soil: Loose and well-drained soil, at least 25 cm deep.
pH: 5.5 to 6.5
Netting: 2-3 levels
PINCH
In order to stimulate the basal sprouting of new stems, pinch when the first stem is induced. Handle with care to avoid damaging the growth points.
IRRIGATION
For a good rooting, keep the moisture at field capacity for the first 3 weeks after planting,. At week 5, lower irrigation to induce stems. During production, maintain a 5.0 – 5.5 l/m2 volume according to the environmental conditions and the organoleptic monitoring.
